On 15th February 2012...

Well...ofcourse i have heard about Macarons before and seen some shops selling it as well...but i have never got the intension to buy...maybe because i know its quite expensive and not worth buying...lol...Last week i got a college friend name, See Wai...try to make some Macarons at home...and the result its kinda fail...lol~ Sorry babe if you are reading this...but u admit too right? hahaha...she bring it to college and very excited about it to let me try....All i can say is...its not exactly fail la....its jz dat the surface of the Macaron doesn't look that smooth like the one that we see...there is some holes and bumpy on the surface...hahaha...turn out looks like a wholemeal macarons...= p....taste wise is ok...maybe too sweet...even da original ones also sweet d...Since i never try the original ones before...so at the end i decided to buy n try out and see what is so great about it..The shop that i bought from is at Macaron Cafe located in Gurney Plaza....other than selling this colourful and small cutie Macarons...they also provide other food like pasta, appertiser, main course, drinks and dessert...just like a restaurant...but its a fancy restaurant with limited choices...

sour..if u don't mind about it...u may try...

Chinese New Year Eve @ Mum's Special "Lor Ark"

On 22nd January 2012...

This year my dad make a special request by asking my mum to cook her signature dish for this Chinese New Year Eve that is called as "Lor Ark"...! Seriously my mum's Lor Ark is the best and i can guarantee you that you can't find this kind of taste anywhere else...it was flavorful, classic and authentic dish...It was the best duck dish that i ever taste in my whole life..~ Thanks Mum for making such a great meal on Chinese New Year...Slurps! = )

Sushi King's Yee Sang, 1st Avenue, Penang

Seriously i never got the chance to try Yee Sang before...even the original one's from the Chinese Restaurant...So till today I still have no idea how it taste like...Having this Yee Sang in Sushi King is my first time tasting it...my bf says that its totally different from the original's due to the ingredients and sauce offered...But then..Hey! Not bad tho...~ Sushi King's Yee Sang taste great...! Its my first time having it...and yes i know...the promo has launch many times since many years back...I love the sauce and lime as a combination...and the crunchiness of the vegetables and if im not mistaken..all the yellow tiny pieces shud be the deep fried tempura skin...and some of the other stuff like fresh salmon, scallop, peanuts and so on...Yummy! I really enjoyed it so much...i only order the small portion cause there is only two of us...it cost Rm8.88...For the large portion that meant for mayb 3-5 person...is Rm38.88...So do try out the Yee Sang in Sushi King k...good stuff...!

Taiwanese Dessert has becoming more popular in Penang Island nowadays...There is alot of shops keep opening too...One of it is the ZenQ Desserts that located in Gurney Plaza. I have tried one of their best selling that called as ZenQ Grass Jelly...Hmmm...not bad tho...The base itself is a crush ice that has grass jelly flavour with some grass jelly on it...that cost you Rm4.90..then you may top up with some additional topping such as red bean, crystal noodles, black pearls, taro, sago and so on...that cost you an additional Rm1.00 for each topping....

On 4th January 2011...

Meet up my old buddy, Angeline today for some catch up...actually we wanted to try the newly open La France cafe at Irrawaddy road...but den due to some bad comments from the diners..den we decided to switch place and went over to Gurney Plaza and have some Tea Time at Winter Warmers...It feels pretty long since the last went out between both of us...It's nice to sit down again and chat together and share our probz like we used to be back in the school days...Now we were all grown up...having our own things to do...and the chances of meeting up has become less...haihz....time flies...

Oh well...the food at Winter Warmers is pretty ok...The Afternoon Tea set tasted normal...it comes everything in 2 portion..there is cookies, cakes ,scones, sandwich and 2 pot of tea (additional Rm1.00 will be charged for changing to other drinks in the menu)...nth special i would say...the scones is pretty hard and dry...and the cookies isn't taste that nice either..lol...and i extra ordered a Veggie & Egg Waffle...tasted ok as well...It's a nice place for a drink...but food wise...just an "OK" word...

This Tree Monkey is located at Teluk Bahang, Penang...Beside Tree Monkey is actually the Tropical Spice Garden where it is a place for tourist attraction, sightseeing on the plants,herbs and spice.Tree Monkey is sort of like a restaurant which located up the hill that sells Thai Food...Since the place is kinda interesting..why not we just go and check it out...! = )

Celebrating New Year 2012 @ Penang Hill

On 31st December 2011...

It's the last day of the year... I spend the very last night at Penang Hill with dear and the brother's friend up the hill to enjoy the fireworks...It was a wonderful night as the place around is so cold...it does feels like you're in Genting Highland or smth...we bring up some Tiger Beer and crackers to celebrate the New Year's night...It was a fun night will all the jokes they make...I certainly enjoyed myself....Happy New Year Everyone...May good things come your way.. = )

Recipe 6 : Christmas Chocolate Oreo Truffle

On 24^th December 2011…

Hey…It’s Christmas Eve…thinking of making some Christmas threats for this festive seasons…so I went over the net and find some interesting recipe…then I found a recipe on “Chocolate Truffle”…Its so easy to make and it doesn’t require any baking methods at all…So all you need is just 3 simple main ingredients… :-

Ingredients

1 pack of Cream Cheese

3 pack of Oreo Biscuits

1 pack of White/Chocolate Bar

Methods

Step 1 : Unpacked the Oreo Biscuits, crushed it and blend it in a blender till it is fine and smooth.

Step 2 : Mix the finely blend Oreo biscuits with the Cream Cheese and mix it together till well combine.

Step 3 : Keep it in the refrigerator for around 1.5 – 2 hours. To make sure it is cold and has a hard texture.

Step 4 : Remove from the fridge and start making a small ball from the mixture.

Step 5 : After finish making the Oreo truffle, keep it in the fridge again for around 1 hour.

Step 6 : Melt the chocolate or white chocolate bar.

Step 7 : Remove the Oreo truffle from the fridge and start dipping into the melted chocolate.

Step 8 : After finish dipping all the truffle, keep inside the fridge again for another 10-15 minutes to make sure the melted chocolate become hard on the truffle.

Step 9 : Remove from the fridge and decorate the upper surface of the truffle with some drizzling with the leftover chocolate.

" You may come out with other decorations on the truffles such as putting some nuts or chocolate toppings on top"

Step 10 : Yes..! Keep inside the fridge again for few hours…erm..mayb 3-4 hours….till its really cold…cause you want the chocolate hard enough to achieve the desire texture that you want.Otherwise it will be soft and it wont be that nice to eat.

Step 11 : What else….????! Lets eat…!

21st November 2011...

After my class in the morning at 10.30am...planning to have breakfast with my Mum as usual...call her but she not feeling well...then i was thinking what to have for breakfast...finally decided to head down to Straits Quay and have breakfast at Delicious....

Breakfast : Eggs Benedict, Rm15.90

It was a very peaceful and mind blowing breakfast this morning...love the environment and the music played...my mind is so relax...just as i wanted....being alone sometimes...get myself away from all the problems and have a good meal to pamper myself...But the most important thing of all is the meal...the Eggs Benedict is excellent..seriously...not joking...it tasted so good...a toasted warm Ciabatta bread serve on top with some ham, 2 poached eggs and some special hollandaise sauce...together with a good cup of coffee...nothing else bet this feeling....and it certainly made my day... = )

(Part 1) Korea : Down to KL

Day 1...(15th June 2011)

"Gotta wake up early in the morning...get prepared and took a bus down to KL to find my fren Ree Nee at 7am..."

"Reach 1-Utama around 1pm....Ree Nee came over and we decided to had our lunch at BBQ Plaza...It was an awesome lunch as we enjoyed ourselves very much with the talks and the food..."

"We finished our lunch around 4pm...and we decided to continue to stay in 1-Utama as we going to meet another fren of ours, Bae Shiuan for dinner.."

" Bae Shiuan finally arrived around 7pm...n after some discussions we finally settle down with "New York New York Deli" for our dinner...As again we had a great time together with all the chit-chating and jokes...we were actually planning to go for some drinks later on...but since it was a long day for me and at the same time i wasn't really feeling well due to the NASI LEMAK i ate in the morning while im on my way to KL...i was terribly ill at that time...so we said Goodbye to Miss Bae...as she need to meet up with her other frens as well.. .n we took a taxi back to Ree Nee's place and have a rest....and that's it for the first day..."

Day 2...(16th June 2011)

"Wake up around 9-10am in the morning...lazying around and at the same time get ourselves ready to go out and have our late breakfast...Leave the house around 12pm...went and have Economy rice for our breakfast at the nearby neighbour...next we walk our way thru to the LRT station to head down to Sungai Wang for some window shopping"

"Technically there is nothing for us to buy as we were saving all up to spend it in Korea....Then around 3pm we were starting to feel hungry again...we went and had our all time favourite meal...NANDO's...YuMmy..!"

"After our late lunch...we went for some walk again....n went to Pavilion Mall to walk around...at the end we were feeling exhausted and wanted to grab a Chatime to ease our thirst...but then the queue is too long and we were fedup of waiting and we finally decided to walk down to the basement to check out is there anything for us to drink...den we finally discovered that there is Food Republic in Pavilion...I tot that you only can find it Singapore...and i didnt know that KL has it as well..."

"As it was getting late....we decided to head our way back home...as we don't want ourselves to feel tired the next day to catch our flight to Korea...After all we want it to feel free and relax on our college break...kekeke = p ...."

Slurps...and we also ate the bread that we bought from Pavilion bakery store...spread with some Peanut Butter Chocolate....Ree Nee loves it alot...and she keeps on telling me how nice it was...lol~"

"Ok, let me explain a little about Korea currency....the money in Korea is called as "Won"...when i went and exchange the money...the rate is at RM2.88 for 1000won......means that 1000won is our RM2.88 in Malaysia....I decided to change RM2000 for my 1 week trip in Korea...so the total exchange i get in return is roughly 70,000won...Wahhhh~ sounds alot hor...? how nice if the 70,000 is in RM........??? lol..."

                  Oh well…hahahaha…I know its pretty sudden to hear that im ACTUALLY went to KOREA last month…Yes, I am…and I have aldy been there and I already came back from Korea for a month already…Crazy right…??? Lol~ Me myself couldn’t expect it as well…Thanks to my wonderful buddy…who is totally insane…luring me to go Korea with her…Lol~ She really makes me go crazy for that 1 whole day to decide either I really shud go for the trip or not..coz it will involved lots of things…especially MONEY, my work, my parents, my boyfriend and what so ever that is important to me and which I have to deal with…

                  Well, at the very last moment before the Airasia flight promotion ends…which I still cannot decide either I should go or not…I just tell my fren, Ree Nee…”Fuck it man..! Let’s do it…! We are going to Korea…!”…Lol~ I was really happy and excited, but at the same time I was pretty depress and regret...lol…and worried as well…coz this 1 week trip, we will be traveling by our own..nope,no tour guide or what so ever…which really scares me a little coz…just 2 gal…fly so far to Korea…and barely know anything dere…and Koreans hardly speak English…how are we gonna communicate with them….???

                 But then…all this were not really a big deal for Ree Nee..coz she bought the flight last year…which means she aldy done all the research b4 hand…so I just tell her…well, if you want me to go…make sure you do all the research and everything man…coz its only left roughly a month plus for me to discover bout Korea…not much of information I can obtain from….I trust her tho…she is a very smart kid… ; ) ….she is totally good in all this..hahaha…Okay, im not gonna say much for now…if I were to continued…it will never ends…lol…My next post will be about my whole Journey to Korea…So, stay tune alrite….? Long Chinese Crullers ( Yu Char Koay), Paya Terubong, Penang

On 10th May 2011....

This stall sells a very long Chinese Cruller (Yu Char Koay)...It has been a very popular snack in Air Itam area...I usually had Yu Char Koay when im having Bak Kut Teh or dip it inside a cup of hot Kopi "O"...lol~...What is really interesting about this Chinese Cruller is that the size is very long if compared to the original ones that we have seen...and there is some toppings that you can add in to the Chinese Cruller such as Kaya, Peanut Butter, Honey, Bak Hu (Chicken Floss), Sausages and Tuna Salad...

Recipe 5 : Toast with Baked Beans

Hmmm..i don't know why...Usually i don't really take bread for breakfast or for any of my other meals...i more prefer to have noodles soup or rice for every meal that i had...but nowadays i keep on like wanting to eat bread..any kind or bread...like sandwiches,roti canai, toast, or even Sausage Mcmuffin from Mcd breakfast...lol~ Due to too much of thinking on bread...then i came out with a recipe of making a simple delicious breakfast..." Toast with Baked Beans"...Hmm...i was curious on how it taste like...with those baked beans put on top of the toast...look and sounds kinda yummy aik..? Lol...Okay, lets give it a try..!

INGREDIENTS

2 slices of Gardenia white bread

Butter

1 slice of cheese

1 egg

Half a can of baked beans

METHODS

Step 1 : Warm up your cooking pan on a medium heat

Step 2 : Spread the butter on the both sides of the bread

and toast it on a cooking pan till its golden brown.

Step 3 : Fry an egg.

Step 4 : Warm up your baked beans through microwave or a

small cooking pot.

Step 5 : Place a toast on a plate followed by cheese,egg,toast

and lastly pour the baked beans on top the toast.

Step 6 : Served...!

On 6th April 2011...

My college frenz told me that Manhattan Fish Market is having promotion on their Fish & Chips for only Rm6.99 from 4th-8th April 2011...I was pretty excited and i thought it was a good deal...! Besides..i never try their food before..and this promotion is really a good chance for me to have a try on their food without spending much...

Hmmm...at first i was really excited about it...but then after having the first bite..the fish & chips taste wasn't that good lor..haihz...what a disappointing...~ It wasn't crispy...and it loses its texture after a few minutes...and you can see that the whole fish is like soften down...and the worst part is...it was so OILY...! Lucky i only ordered a plate of it to test out with dear...or else more regret..! Lol~

To me, i still think that Blue Reef served the best Fish & Chips...SLUrPsSss~...kekeke = P ....Well, if you are not fussy about it...and you wanted to have a cheap meal at Manhattan Fish Market...Then you may just have a try...It still wasn't a bad deal anyway...lol~

Next Stop, 1ST Avenue Mall, Penang

There is this new fast food outlet opens in 1^st Avenue Mall, Penang. Located at level 8, the same floor as The Red Box and the Cinema…It was called “Next Stop”…I personally found it kinda cute that it was operate in a small cute little bus…lol~

Basically they were selling fried stuff…You can choose either fried Fish Fillet, Calamari, Prawns, Squid and Popcorn Shrimp…Can say that the choice were pretty limited tho… Hmm…you can choose to either have it as a set that comes together with fries and drink that will cost you RM9.00 or you can jz go for the ala carte, which cost you Rm6 for each of that…

Dear was actually craving for smth to eat…so he ordered a set of the “Next Fish Fillet,Rm9” with the choice of drink, “Mango Peach Sjora”…I wasn’t that hungry....and i jz ordered a cup of Fresh Brewed Coffee,Rm4.00….

Well overall it was nothing that specially…it was recommendable for those who wanted to have some light snack or mayb just to have a sit and have a relaxing chat or something..

On 16th March 2010…

James Foo Western Food is actually reopens its new own restaurant just beside the old shop where they used to operates it business…This time the shop totally look different and feel different from the previous dining experienced…The new shop was renovated look like a restaurant concept…the place is totally well furnished and it looks brighter, cleaner and ofcoz…! No more mosquito…! That is the most important part wei..~ lol…

As what I heard from them…they said that they stop operating its old shop on the last Sunday (13/3/2011) and close on Tuesday and Wednesday to get them prepared for the grand opening of its new shop, which is today..! I didn’t know about it actually…is jz dat dear was craving for its western food dats y we drop by its shop…and we were surprised that they were actually opening its new shop today…I guess we were quit lucky tho…lol~

Well..i also can see that they added a few new items in their menu…and this time it has pictures displaying around to let the customers to have a look on their food…and ofcoz some of the food and drinks price stay the same…and some were increased as well…

Okay..dear wanted to order their signature dish…“Chicken Cordon Blue” but sadly the chicken items all were all sold out..! Pretty good business on the first day aik..! Then dear just have to switch it to “Stuffed Fish”..the same thing as Cordon Blue…just using fish meat to wrap…

It was his 21st Bday this year...i wanted to do something special for him and give him at least a memorable 21st bday of his own...rather than just boring with work...So i did some surprised for his Bday by making him a bday cake which is the Tiramisu..! Lol~ dats da only cake i know how to make...So with all the hardwork and creative decoration...This is my finishing product...TA DAH~ Come on...! Look at it..! The picture below...~ Isn't it pretty...??? hahaha...i know..i know...it looks kinda cute with the lady bird as the deco..but at least it was a nice piece of work...am i right..? Lol~ Im so proud of myself that i able to make such beautiful cake for him...

Recipe 4 : Homemade Tiramisu

Halo...! PhewWWww..~ Been really busy lately....busy bout college assignments, holiday trip, catching up with frenz, n ofcoz WORK all the time...hahaha...yeah,wat to do..is all part of our life...lol...Okok, Today im gonna teach you how to make Homemade Tiramisu and it is so easy and delicious...! hahaha..it was one of the most easiest cake or dessert ever...! You dun have to bake it and it doesn't involve any difficult steps at all....SERIOUSLY dude...! Come lets check it out together..hehehe..*wink~

INGREDIENTS

3 egg yolks

250g of mascarpone cheese/cream cheese

400g of cream, whipped

250ml of strong instant coffee

20 lady fingers (biscuits)

2 tbsp of brandy/dark rum

(is optional not to include any of it, as for my recipe i skip this ingredient)

100g sugar

50g of cocoa powder

METHODS

1. Cook the egg yolks

Step 1 : Place saucepan 1/3 full of water on to a stove and bring

to a shimmer.

Step 2 : Add the egg yolks and sugar into a medium bowl and

briefly whip them together.

Step 3 : Then place the bowl over the shimmering water,

continue to whip for few minutes till the eggs is slightly

cook and it has a smooth running consistency.

Step 4 : Remove the bowl from the heat and let it cool down.

2. Add the cheese and cream

Step 1 : Place the mascarpone cheese/cream cheese into a bigger

bowl and add in the lightly cooked egg yolks. Mix both of

the ingredients together till it is well blend.

Step 2 : Slowly spoon in the whipped cream and mix it well.

3. Making the Tiramisu

Step 1 : Add the brandy/dark rum into the strong instant coffee.

(skip this if you do not wish to include any of it)

Step 2 : Dip the lady fingers into the coffee and let it soaked for

a few seconds.

**Note : Do not soaked for too long as the lady fingers

will become VERY VERY soft and wet.

Step 3 : Place the lady fingers horizontally into a container and

fill up the first layer.

Step 4 : Next, spoon over the cream mixture on top of the first

layer lady fingers till half full container.

Step 5 : Again dip the lady fingers into the coffee to build a

second layer on top of the cream and again add

another layer of cream on top of the lady fingers.

Step 6 : Finally, dust the cocoa powder all over the top.

4. Cool and serve

Step 1 : Place it into the fridge for a few hours to set.

(roughly 4-6 hours)

Step 2 : Remove the Tiramisu from the fridge and wat

else more....??? IS TIME TO EAT..! Hahaha..!

so i used whatever container i have as a substitute...hahaha

cute right..? There is large, medium and small...small is for

me to test,medium is for my Dear and the large 1 ofcoz

is for my family...hehehe "

"Hot Rock" - Genting First World Plaza Food Court

Halo...! On the 1st till 3rd November 2010, i went for a trip to Genting Highland with dear and my college friends...I wanna share with you a food stall that i discovered at the First World Plaza Food Court....the stall is called " Hot Rock "....Yap, is Hot Rock....not Hard Rock alrite...lol~

Me and dear ordered this Salmon Set....the set includes fried rice, salad, mushroom soup, drink and a piece of bread...the salmon fish is served on top of a very high temperature rock...They will season the salmon and place it on top of the rock and serve it to you....So practically you need to do the cooking...lol~

It was pretty interesting on how they actually prepare the food..i kinda like it cause i actually get to play with a little bit of cooking...lol~ Monitoring the salmon...flip here and there...make sure the fish is cook...and at the end...Walah~ Your salmon is ready to eat...! hehehe

I felt it was pretty worth...as you can see that the salmon size is actually kinda big...For salmon, this complete set is cost around RM20 something...if you order chicken then it might be cheaper...i guess around Rm11 or Rm15....if im not mistaken...lol~ Other than salmon there is other choices as well...such as chicken, beef, fish fillet, lamb...If you don't wanna order as a set..you may just order as a ala carte too.... = )

Oh My Gosh Fella's....~ I wanted to post this since 2 months beck...lol~ But then i keep on pending and pending...until finally today i decided to blog about it...Blek!

On September 2010....

I came to know about this restaurant since the day it open...but then i never have the intention to pay a visit...and i rather dine in Annabelle's Place instead...maybe because im not a fans of Fish and Chips...lolx...

Until 1 day...I dunno why I suddenly felt like having Fish and Chips...and seriously i can still remember...im really so obsessed about it...Then after done lots of research thru the net...then i finally decide to have a try at Blue Reef...Yea~....i heard from a lot of ppl that they serve the best Fish and Chips in Town...most probably better than Fish & Co. or Fish Manhattan....lolx...So what are u doubting about? Come! Lets see what they got to prove me wrong....kekeke...~

Okay...My first visit is with my Mum and Sis...I still remember is on Sunday noon...after came back from work in the morning...and all of us desperately searching for something to eat for lunch...Blue Reef is actually located at the Lebuh Lembah Permai, Tanjung Bungah, Penang....Somewhere near TAR College area...Closed on every Monday...

After done our ordering...then me and my Mum saw this weekdays lunch promotion...by ordering any of the main course then just add another Rm1.00 to enjoy a soup, garlic bread and ice lemon tea..Pretty worth Aik...??? * Around 5am....have to wake up d...must catch our flight at 7smth...lol...~ we leave the house around 6smth...While on the way...all of us sleep like pig in the car...pity Pooi Sin have to drive us dere...."SORRY Pooi Sin...~" lol...then we reach the airport around 7smth...we almost late for our flight...Really ki siao at that time...Angeline was like so worried...and both of us running around the airport to look for the stations....Before we leave we give cassandra a last big hug and best wishes before she leave to New Zealand...we dun have the time to take pictures also...hahaha...Then we safely reach Penang around 9something in the morning...

Well...the chicken rice ball tasted okla...not bad...to me it famous because of the shape of the rice that they turn it into a ping pong ball size...Can say as something different lor...lol~ And about the Cabbage Tomyam...it looks smth like " Chai Boey "...it tasted abit weird from the original taste that i have tasted...the taste is yeah...sour as well...

*After lunch...is time to SHOP...! Lol~....So we walk around the Jonker Street to see whether is there anything to buy...

Lol~ Actually im not so excited about it...jz wanna join the crowd...Btw...today Burger King has a special promotion...which is selling " Whopper Burger " for only RM1.00...!!! Yeah...~ This is what i call HOT NEWS.....! keke...

After finish my college at 5pm i straight went to the Burger King outlet located at Sungai Pinang to get myself a Whopper Burger...Here is the map to show you how to get there...i get this picture from the facebook...blek..!

4 Days 3 Nights at KL @ Visiting Cass

Me and Angel plan a trip to KL to visit one of our good fren who is leaving to New Zealand on the 31st of August...we decided to spend 4 days n 3 nights there... So we get to spend more time together..

On 28th August 2010

* Jye and Angel came over and fetch me from my house and we head for a lunch together at 1-stop before catching our flight at the airport at 2.50pm...

" Okay, lets do some review on the food alrite...erm..firstly i wanna talk about the choices...there is not much choices there...is only 30 over dishes...i felt is not worth...as the buffet is RM70 per pax...I expected more than that as i was paying for this price...Secondly about the food...ya, it was okay..not much of complain...Overall, it was just average...nothing to " Wuuu HAaa.." about...sorry..."

* After dinner...went to a club at Sunway Piramid area...The club call...Ministry Of Sound (MOS).. Surprisingly the club is not alot of ppl...the place is great...but the less crowd has make the whole place look so dull...

Halo...today i want to promote my working place...Yes! Vintage Bulgaria...hahaha...im currently working there as a part timer...earning some cash while still studying...hehehe...As a waitress, i always look at the food when the they prepare it inside the kitchen...it smell so nice and look so delicious...!! It makes me so tempted to eat..hehehe...So me and dear decided to come over n have a try when we have an off day together.....

We ordered one of the set in the menu called " Crown Roasted Pork With Stuffing " it is actually pork ribs...the set cost Rm65...this meal is meant for 2 person...which means that this 3 course meal also comes in two portion as well...For the appetizer you can choose either a soup or a garden salad...so we order 1 soup n 1 salad...the drinks will be 2 Ice Lemon Tea and the dessert you may choose any dessert from the dessert selections....and we choose 1 Vanilla Creme Brulee and Chocolate Soup....hehehe...WAH...! Quite worth right...??? Only Rm65...for me i think is worth to try...lol...Come..! Lets have a look at the food...kekeke

Overall is a great dinner...you guys shud come and try the Crown Roast Pork that i mention jz now...i felt it is worth as a set...Well, the restaurant will change the menu items every 3months...as i heard from my supervisor that they gonna change the menu by next month October...So im not quite sure either this set is still available...if you are interested then try to come by end of this month...Other than considering this...you might wanna try some of the signature dish in their ala carte menu too...Some of the popular ones is really delicious yor...how i know about it? Ofcoz la..i work dere ma...so sometimes the chef will cook some of it and let us try...kekeke....Syok lor..~

Oh ya~....I appeared in the Kwong Wah Chinese newspaper on 22nd August 2010...Wahahaha...~ Dress up in the Bulgaria traditional costume to promote the restaurant...I got a few frens call me up saying that they saw me in the newspaper...lol~ Me looking so small inside the newspaper they also can recognize me...hahaha..so funny...!

On 4th August 2010....

Just after college around lunch hour...hungry and dunno where to go...den i just call up my mum and ask either she interested to have lunch together...She said ok...and she wanted to eat something western...so she suggest to go Little Cottage 2 to have lunch...

The lunch there is pretty affordable...it has a 3 course set meal....which means it has appetizer, main course, drinks and dessert...The price range is from Rm9.90 to Rm30....

On 22nd September 2010...

Dear bought a Foh San Mooncake as a give to my family for this wonderful Mooncake Festival...i was too busy bout selling my jelly mooncake and i did give a box of it for his family too...but i never expect or never think of dear will buy for my family...hehehe...i was surprised and feeling happy...i dunno y...is not that he dun buy things for my family...is jz that i dun expect him to buy in return..cause expensive ma...got buy or no buy also nvm eh...i dun mind...lol...~

So here it is..the Foh San Mooncake...4 piece in a box...The packaging is so nice rite...? They really design in a proper way to give as a give for some1...well done!...about the flavour there is erm...Lotus Paste, Pandan, Jade Chocolate and Green Tea...For me i definately will take the Pandan flavour...i only like to eat that...kekekeke...One thing good about this mooncake is it wasnt really that sweet...which i much prefer...i have tried the Tai Thong mooncake...OMG...! It is so SweEt...! It makes me jz cant put another piece in my mouth anymore...lol~ This brand Foh San not bad la...u guys may consider to buy for next year mooncake festival...hehehe.. = )

Recipe 3 : Roasted Chicken served with Couscous Salad

Olah…~ Well…I know I know….is been quite awhile that I didn’t post up any recipe in this blog…Lol.. I’m really sorry… I apologize alrite…hehehe…Okay, today im gona teach you guys how to make “Couscous Salad”….Yap, my main teaching here is about the couscous salad…not the roasted chicken…lol~ The roasted chicken you can get it from Cold Storage or Tesco..kekeke…It all happens when one day, I was browsing thru the net about salad pictures in google…then I suddenly saw a couscous salad…it looks so nice and pretty interesting…then it captures my attention and makes me feel like wanna have a try of it…so after a week of research…then I have finally came into a conclusion on what to put in as an ingredient in making the salad…

Before I start to teach you guys how to make the salad…I would like to explain what is couscous alrite…couscous is actually a type of pasta…its very tinny and almost look like rice…is pretty healthy…and most of the time people will consume it as a substitute to rice…To those people who is health conscious or maybe planning for a diet control…then maybe you can try to make this as your meal…Is very simple to make…as it doesn’t involve any cooking at all…Okay, before I continue to talk n talk n talk…I think we shud get thing started…hahaha….

INGREDIENTS

1 Cup of Couscous

1 Cup of Chicken Stock

1 Red Bell Pepper (cut into small cubes)

2 English Cucumbers (cut into small cubes)

1 Can of Chick Peas

1 small pack of Dried Cranberries

1 pack of Almond Flakes

Spring Onions (finely chop)

Cilantro (finely chop)

Small Tomatoes ( cut into 4 parts)

2 Lemons

Olive Oil

Salt & Black Pepper

1 whole Roasted Chicken (cut into few parts)

METHODS

Couscous – Part 1

Step 1 : Pour the 1 cup of couscous in a big bowl and add in 1 cup of hot boiling chicken stock or water that has the same amount as the couscous.

Step 2 : Add in some salt and olive oil and stir it till mix well.

Step 3 : Cover it up for 10 to 15 minutes.

Step 4 : Remove the cover and gentle stir it with a fork to release the heat ( if you do not do that, the couscous will continue to cook)

Step 5 : Leave it a side to cool down

Couscous – Part 2

Step 1 : After the couscous has cool down add in the (red bell pepper, english cucumbers, chick peas, dried cranberries, almond flakes, spring onions, cilantro, small tomatoes)

Step 2 : For taste add in some salt, black pepper,olive oil and lemon juice (adjust through your liking)

Step 3 : Mix all the ingredients together and keep in the fridge to set cold

Serving

Step 1 : Scoop out some of the couscous salad in a beautiful plate

Step 2 : Place the roasted chicken on top of the salad and served.

Okay okay…after complete all this..is time to have a try…HmMmmm..the taste is not bad tho…My mum kinda like it…but she say is abit too sour…and I agreed with that too..but Overall is not bad lo for a first timer…need some improvement on the taste…mayb next time you guys wanna prepare..make sure u guys becareful with the lemon juice alrite…hehehe…Happy Cooking…!~

Loh Mee, Perak Road

Honestly i dont really eat Loh Mee very often...i felt it was kinda starchy...n i dont really like it...but once in the blue moon syok syok then i will eat it lo...hehehe...My mum is the one who suggest to eat Loh Mee at Perak Road...since we were at that area that time...

She said that this Loh Mee is very famous...and has lots of extra topping to add on...So we ordered two bowl of Loh Mee with mix extra topping...it cost Rm4.00 per bowl...

The Loh Mee turns out to be very big bowl when it served to us...i was kinda shock when i look at it...cause im kinda small eater in the morning...After you keep stirring the noodles...the "Loh" will eventually become less starchy...Well the Loh Mee taste very good....im the type of person who dont eat Loh Mee...also can say it is good d...den do u think it taste good??? Ofcoz le...lol...The bowl of noodles really pack with flavours...the chilli and garlic vinegar sauce really have the kick going on...really very delicious...Yum! Yum! As for the ingredients it has pork meat, pork intestine,chicken leg, pork skin and eggs...It is really worth for Rm4.00...as you get to enjoy so much of ingredients...

So do come over and have a try alrite when you wanted to have a bowl of Loh Mee....the business hour is open from 7am till 4pm and close on every thursday...i guarantee you will satisfied with the quality of food....Simply delicious~ Hehehe...
