Thai Restaurant, Bukit Genting

On 18 December 2009....

                Today me and my old frens went for a dinner at Bukit Genting and at the same time we plan to give a surprise birthday party for one of our friend, Angeline...Ya, at last u are 21 year old my fren... kekeke...~!~

                This Bukit Genting is located in Penang, somewhere Balik Pulau area..is a place where they have this restaurant sells Thai Food...The place there has this very nice scenary and beautiful decorations at the garden...As you guys know the place is called Bukit Genting..rite? sure this restaurant is located at the top of the hill....you may see a very nice view from top to down there...but too bad for us...coz that nite the weather is not quite good...is raining at that time...so,we cant really enjoy the view because of mist around....

                Ok, after enuff of taking pics and postings d...now is the time to talk about the food...we have ordered alot of food lo...now we eating Thai Food rite? Ofcoz we have to start with "Tom Yam Soup" lar...hahaha... The soup is really red, really spicy, really sour, really sweet....a very powerful combination...NICE ONE~!

                 Next is the Thai appetizer....the rapping thingy...this dish is called "Meng Kam"...you take the leaf and you campur-campur all the things together and you rap it up and put the whole thing in ur mouth...hahaha..erm...the taste okla, something special to me lo...coz i dun really eat Thai Food except the Tom Yam...

                 Follow up is the "Steam Fish"...WaH~! the taste really sour and spicy lo...more sour than the Tom Yam soup...the fish is serve together with pineapples and cabbage...

                 PRAWN~!...The prawn is serve together with the " Tang Hoon " and cook with black pepper sauce...who ever like black pepper stuff....this is the dish they would prefer to have...

Kim Gary Restaurant

               

                Hie hie...!!! Kim Gary has been my dear all time favourite restaurant...everytime we go Gurney Plaza or Queensbay Mall he sure will suggest to eat in Kim Gary...hahaha...make me jelak only~! coz is like every week Kim Gary! Kim Gary! Kim Gary...hahaha...Actually Kim Gary food is really not bad la...they serve a variety of food...the ambiance, the courtesy of the waiter is good, the serving is very efficient...almost everything about Kim Gary is good...i mean the overall performance...

                Alrite, lets talk about my dear favourite drink....he only will order 1 drink in Kim Gary,that is the "Mango & Coconut Milky Lure"...it really taste very good..very smooth mango smoothie with some mango cubes and sago...the drink really blend very well...as for me,nowadays i very crazy bout having coffee..thats why mostly i will have " Yin Yong " as my drink...

                As for the food..since you guys know that is very frequent that me and my dear dine in Kim Gary..so, not everytime we will order the same food....but i will share with you guys what we mostly order there alrite.. = )

                This is a "Japanese Bean-Curd With Abalone"...It has 2 piece of Japanese Tofu and mushrooms... with double cheese flavour...very nice...very cheesy..hehe!

                This is a "Grill Beef Steak Burger"...It definately looks very normal...rite? well, i dunno...it taste great to me...i love the fresh hot bread with the butter spread on it...the beef is jz nice..is not hard and it is just perfectly cook...nice burger!

                    

                This is a "Supreme Mix Grill Curry".....me and my dear love this dish very much...haha...mayb because it is a curry dish...it has erm...chicken,pork,ham,chicken wing,egg,potato and cheese on top of it...ya, i would say this dish is very valuable...you can choose either rice or spaghetti to go along with this dish..but for us,we will choose rice ..and i will order an extra rice to share with my dear on this dish..because the portion is quite alot for 1 person...

                 "Black Pepper Lamb Chop"...this lamb chop come in a set...the set includes a drink, soup, garlic bread, main course and dessert...i still remember the price of this set is Rm20.90...i felt very valuable lo...coz the lamb is alot...somemore u get to enjoy so much things in juz Rm20++...to me is CHEAP~!

                  Me and Dear have alot of memories together in Kim Gary....alot of joy and craziness...hehe rite dear?? = )

Kenny Rogers Roasters

On 12 December 2009...

                 My fren Ree Nee has jz came back to penang last few days...so we organize a meeting to have a catch up with the other frens too...we have decided to go Queensbay Mall to have our lunch...we spend our time searching the right food and yet there is nothing special to eat...so end up we have our lunch in Kenny Rogers Roasters...actually i have a bad experienced in Kenny Rogers b4 by eating the spaghetti call "Tangy Chicken"...i can tell you is SUCK~!....i eat 1 mouth nia i feel like vomit d...thats why i don't really go Kenny Rogers and eat coz of the bad experience of the food...YUCKS~!

                But nvm....today i give Kenny Rogers a second chance to prove me wrong about their food...Erm...okay, all of us has ordered the quarter chicken with 3 side dish and a muffin (RM15.90)...the sauce for the chicken,we ordered the original taste...As for the drinks..i ordered a coke, Ree Nee ordered a mango juice, Chin Eng ordered a 100 plus and Wei Han ordered a strawberry juice...

             About the overall food is oklo..as long i dun eat that SCARY spaghetti "Tangy Chicken" can d..everything in Kenny Rogers is still acceptable for me...But if were to let me choose between Kenny Rogers and Nando's la...i can tell u 100% i will choose NANDO'S.....for me Nandos taste way much better than Kenny Rogers...hehehe

Harvest In Cafe....

On 5 December 2009...

Today Im having lunch with my dear at Harvest In Cafe...located at Irrawaddy Road,Penang....The cafe is pack with people during lunch time...Im pretty impress with the simple interior....and get so excited when i look in the menu and found out that the price is very Reasonable and Affordable...I believe everyone will be very happy to found out about the price in such a pleasant restaurant...The workers there is very efficient.. this is wat i like when i dine in the restaurant...as service is very important...no matter how good ur food is..and ur service is bad..THATS IT~! haha...

Okay, as usual...lets talk about the foodie...ermm...dear ordered a glass of honey green tea (RM3.00) and as for me, i ordered a glass of peach tea (RM2.50)...

Then as for the Appetizer we ordered a Croissant With Cheese (RM4.90), Garden Salad with Caesar Dressing (RM5.90) and Mushroom Soup (RM3.50)...well the croissant taste alrite for me...but dear said that is too dry because they did not put any butter in it...they jz serve the croissant WITH the cheese...hehe...as for the salad...i dun think the dressing taste great actually..hehe..mayb i have taste a better caesar salad dressing...and regret to order it coz the main course and the appetizer already has the side salad..so is kinda like TOO MUCH of salad to eat...haha...hmm about the mushroom soup...the taste is good...but not warm enuff...and the garlic bread taste ok if you didnt complain that much..coz the garlic bread is actually very hard..it seems like they toste it too long till it is hard...just like eating a cracker bread..hahaha....

Alrite...here comes the main course... dear has ordered a Barbeque Chicken (RM7.90) and i ordered a Fish and Chips (RM7.90)...The barbeque chicken and the fish and chips taste alrite to us...nothing so special about the taste...but yet is still acceptable...

About the overall performance...Harvest In Cafe is an average cafe...the ambiance,the service,the price,the presentation of the food is really good,to be honest....but somehow i felt mayb the food still can be improve on...the cafe still maintain a good impression in me...i will definately dine in this restaurant again in the future...

***LOOK~!....order so much only RM35.60 in total...summore dun have service charge and govt. tax... CHEAP!!!! = p

Mizi Bistro

On 25 November 2009....

Today is one of my friend bday...his name is Khai Keat...me and my other frens (Wei Han & Dexter) surprised him with our unexpected attendants, while he and his gf was dinning in " Mizi Bistro " for a dinner...well, this plan will not be able to work well without Khai Keat's gf help...her name is Michelle Ooi...hehe thx Mich! Is been quite awhile that we guys didnt meet up each another for an outing...So, is nice to see them again and sit down, have some dinner and chit chat about the good all days in school...everyone is been busy with their own life and starting to have new frenz..thats why our relationship has been growing apart... Ohya..WELL..bEfoRE i fORGet about it..haha...let's come beck and talk about our main topic here...huh?? you mean what izzit??? AIYA...ofcoz about food la..." MIZI BISTRO "...hahaha... this Mizi Bistro is located at  New World Park...that evening, all of us ordered the set dinner which includes mushroom soup and bread, drinks, main course and free flow of ice-cream...honestly to me, the food there is just Okay...i will give it 7/10...nothing that special..well,i dunno..mayb i ordered the wrong food...if you wanna know bout the ambiance then erm..okla,quite comfortable also...but overall to me is just not satisfying...i believe that i won't have the second thought to come beck here and dine again..SORRY MIZI..!!

Nando's

Nando’s has been my all time favourite food…love the chicken, love the mediterranean rice, love the coleslaw, love the the hOt PerI Peri sauce, love the hot garlic bread with mushroom soup…hahaha..like almost love everything bout NANDO’S….YUMMY~!!!! Im totally a true fan of them…well, nothing much to talk bout Nando’s actually..you can find it in Gurney Plaza and Queensbay Mall in Penang…when everytime I dine in Nando’s I will definately order the hot flavour quarter chicken with 2 sidelines (rice and coleslaw) **never fail**, which will cost you Rm14.50…and as for the drinks if you order the soft drinks..it will be bottomless…but as for that day I order a glass of sparkling apple juice and share with my dear…coz the drinks there is pretty expensive…ya, I think that’s all for nando’s actually…haha cya!

Kocha Taiwanese Delight

HIE..! HIE..! NI HAU MA...???....hehe...today's recommendation is about Taiwan food...hehe...this "Kocha Taiwanese Delight" is located at Jalan Burmah...is opposite Anson Park Food Court....this restaurant has been the one and only taiwanese restaurant i love to dine...so far i have ordered a lot of different kind of meal before....all taste great and no disapointment at all...hehe...they have erm..i dunno..i think more than 30 different kind of set meals... ranging from RM 10 to RM 30....they also provide other kind of ala carte dishes...well, i rarely order the ala carte lar...coz i felt the set meal very valueable..and wanna save money ma...haha..want to enjoy good food and also with great prices...the set meal itself already got the main meal with soup,vege,dessert,fruits and drinks...I seriously love the ambiance there...very comfortable..feels like u having a meal at home...very nice and simple interior inside the restaurant....you guys seriously must go and have a try over there....the price is very reasonable and the great thing is there is no service charge and govt. tax...this is the best thing of all...hahaha...!
